We are looking for a freelance Report Designer to join our team. They will be responsible for designing Clean Air Partnership reports on an ad-hoc basis, approximately 5-10 reports per year, ranging from 10-100 pages. This position will report to the Research and Communications Manager. Rates are negotiable. This position is remote only, and can be located anywhere in Canada.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design original report concepts
- Work closely with Research and Communications manager on any given job
- Schedule projects and define budget constraints
- Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
- Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
- Develop illustrations, logos and other designs
- Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
- Amend designs after feedback
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing, on-brand and following CAP style guide
Skills, Experience and Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in Graphic Design
- A strong portfolio that showcases a diversity of digital pieces that are sleek, modern, and clean in style
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong design and layout skills
- Familiarity with AODA legislation relating to document production
- Creative mind, actively seeking new and innovative ways to create
- Works well in collaborative and independent work environment
- Proactive and organized, able to maintain schedule
- Expert time-management skills
