The Clean Air Council (CAC) is a network of 29 municipalities, representing over 60% of Ontario’s population, who work collaboratively on the development and implementation of clean air and climate change mitigation and adaptation actions.
The June 8th Clean Air Council Summit provided an opportunity for elected officials from all orders of government to announce upcoming climate change actions being undertaken in their jurisdiction and share the message of the key role municipalities play in advancing air pollution and climate change solutions.
The Summit also highlighted priority action areas where all orders of government are working together to advance sustainable, livable communities.
