During this webinar The Atmospheric Fund will be presenting information on two new programs that support municipal climate actions. The EV Station Fund which is targeting the installation of 300 chargers across the GTHA and provides rebates of up to 50% of EV charger costs. They are seeking EV chargers that are accessible to the public (so installation at community centres or other municipal facilities the public accesses). Municipal staff who have already participated in the program will be joining the webinar to speak to their experiences. TAF will also be sharing information about their new Retrofit Accelerator – a no-cost service to support municipal housing corporations with retrofit planning for multi-unit residential building (MURB) owners in planning, securing financing and implement deep retrofits to achieve social, financial and environmental objectives. The webinar will be wrapped up via a roundtable update on upcoming energy efficiency issues and actions underway across municipalities.
