Municipalities are searching for opportunities to bring an equity lens to their climate actions to identify where possible synergies exist and what would need to be considered during the design of climate actions identified in Climate Action/Energy/Emissions Plans. This workshop will present a preliminary equity lens to each of these actions in the form of questions that can help staff identify possible equity synergies and how municipalities can act on identified synergies via their climate action implementation. This workshop will include both presentations of some possible equity/climate synergy actions and break out groups that will explore the draft questions and how to act on synergy opportunities. This will be an in-person and virtual workshop.
